Senior Master Trung (Kevin) started practicing Vovinam in Germany and was the first master to open a privately owned Vovinam school in USA. Master Trung was former Vice President of the Vovinam World Board of Masters and former President of Vovinam Texas.

Master Jose is one of Senior Master Trung's original students in Texas, who has been in Vovinam for over 40 years.
